An opportunity to listen to what’s happening in the funding domain and provide feedback
In May 2014 the Australian Government abolished several funded training programs. Since August 2013 little funding for workplace training has been released, e.g. the WELL program still exists, but for current projects only. So what is the future?
A new program, the Industry Skills Fund, will be released in January 2015. A discussion has been developed to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to provide feedback to the Australian Government on the design and delivery arrangements for the Industry Skills Fund.
This workshop will provide an update on what’s happening in the Department of Industry with a focus on funding in the workplace – what existing funding is continuing; what opportunities there are; as well as an update on some funded programs, e.g. the Workforce development program, the Foundation Skills project.
