AWPN National Conference 2015 – So who is delivering foundation skills?

If the National Foundation Skills Strategy for Adults is to be fully realised by 2022 then we need a fully equipped and engaged workforce on board to deliver these skills. Unless we develop a workforce capable of delivering foundation skills within community, classroom and workplace settings we run the risk of diminishing the capacity of our adult learners to take on the challenges of the knowledge economy and respond to calls from government and industry for high-level thinking, innovation and flexibility.

Join us at the AWPN National Conference 2015 and hear from Michelle Circelli, Senior Research Officer, National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) and Louise Wignall, Director, Wignall Consulting Services.

Together they will share the findings from two inter-related activities aimed at learning more about the skills and expertise practitioners bring to their work, and the skills and professional development needed to continue to deliver the right mix of skills to learners to help them meet the challenges of living, learning and working in Australia now and into the future.
